Washington State Ferries

Starting off as a small collection of steamer lines serving the Puget Sound area, Washington State Ferry has grown to be one of the largest ferry service providers in the world. Both foot passengers and vehicles use the service that offers 20 terminals located around Puget Sound and in the San Juan Islands and is designated as part of the state highway system in Washington State. Guests onboard any ferry are treated to views of mountains, forested coastlines and marine wildlife.
