The premier sightseeing business in Seattle, operating both the City Sightseeing and Gray Line Seattle brands, is looking to hire new stars to join its team of Narrative Sightseeing Tour Bus Operators. Do you have a passion for showcasing Seattle to visitors from around the world, going out of your way to enhance their day? Are you a self-driven, outgoing individual who enjoys working in a team-oriented culture?  Do you possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License and enjoy being an independent leader in your work? If yes, this position may be a great fit for you + you won’t beat your office views of beautiful Seattle Washington from your driver’s seat! 

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE :

  • Being responsible for conducting safe, orderly, and fun sightseeing group tours of Seattle 
  • Providing live tour narration 
  • Efficiently keeping to a scheduled itinerary 
  • Performing daily pre and post-trip inspections 
  • Being warm, friendly, and welcoming while providing exceptional service to guests 
  • Promoting partner attractions and online reviews 
  • Professionally handle guest queries and concerns 
  • Complete all passenger paperwork for entry into attractions 
  • Accurately perform credit transactions using point of sale iPads 
  • Effective and professional communication over radio/phone  
  • Available to work a full-time schedule over the peak summer touring months 

WHAT WE’LL LOVE ABOUT YOU :

  • You have a friendly + outgoing personality with a guest first focus 
  • You possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements, and a clean driver abstract 
  • You can pass a DOT drug test and enroll in the DOT Clearinghouse 
  • You have the flexibility to accommodate a changing schedule, available to work any day of the week, and an average shift length of 8-10 hours per day 
  • You have previous experience working in a customer service role  
  • You can work well both independently with minimum direction, and as part of a team  
  • You possess a professional attitude and appearance 
  • You have excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills  
  • You possess administrative, problem solving, attention to detail, and time management skills  
  • In-depth knowledge of Seattle is an asset 
  • You are fluent in English, written and oral. Ability to speak a second language is an asset  
  • You are legally entitled to work in the United States of America
