The premier sightseeing business in Seattle, operating both the City Sightseeing and Gray Line Seattle brands, is looking to hire an in-market sales leader to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with sales in the leisure and hospitality industry and past success in facilitating and fostering sales relationships. This individual must be self-driven, outgoing, and organized. The primary focus of this role is to generate sales by building the company’s Affiliate Program through establishing sales relationships within the local tourism market.  

 

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE :

  • Develop an in-market sales strategy and execution plan focused on building long-term relationships with resellers (Affiliates) and increase overall sales 
  • Find, develop, and grow the in-market Affiliate Program concentrating on concierge, hotel staff, travel agents, convenience stores, and other third-party sales outlets 
  • Affiliate account management: set-up new accounts, troubleshoot technical difficulties, deliver commissions, arrange special events, and guest service assistance 
  • Conduct product knowledge sessions 
  • Plan and execute familiarization tours 
  • Find, develop, and grow partnerships with key local tour and attractions providers, and local destination marketing organizations such as Visit Seattle 
  • Attend hotel affiliate events as a representative of City Sightseeing and Gray Line Seattle 
  • Administrative duties: commission reconciliation, CRM updates, and sales reporting 
  • Educate, train, and follow up on internal sales force and street sales team, including payroll hours and commissions 
  • Professionally manage queries and concerns 
  • Working some evenings, weekends and holidays will be required 
  • May require some travel
